Prof. Dr Roland Kaehlbrandt teaches linguistics at Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences. He studied Romance and Germanic philology in Cologne and Paris and obtained his doctorate in Romance linguistics. Through his work with various foundations, he launched the nationwide \u201cJugend debattiert\u201d competition and the \u201cDeutschsommer\u201d programme for children from migrant backgrounds. He is a member of the German Academy for Language and Literature. He has received numerous German and French awards for his commitment to promoting language awareness and linguistic culture.<\/p>\n
