The German Language Week will be officially launched on Monday 12 October 2026 with the dramatised pathway \u2018Come as you are\u2019 by the Agora Theatre in Saint-Vith.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome As You Are is a multilingual theatrical course (\u2026).<\/em><\/p>\n At each stop, an actor or actress performs a monologue lasting between 5 and 10 minutes that evokes the absurd and the unexpected.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n These short, surrealist stories depict love, cowardice, moments of happiness and existential anxieties, each one a unique portrait. The audience wanders in small groups through and beyond these different worlds, encountering the actors as they are staged (\u2026).<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Our aim is to provide a detailed snapshot of the Belgian population.<\/em><\/p>\n Three writers from three different generations, each representing one of our country\u2019s three linguistic communities, have been commissioned to produce texts, with the aim of ultimately bringing together 99 texts by as many artists.<\/em><\/p>\n This project breaks down the linguistic barriers of our small country and fosters new artistic encounters.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018Come as You Are\u2019 is a portrait of our times: reality had better watch out!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Ages 14 and over<\/p>\n Admission is free, but booking is essential.<\/p>\n Please register by 28 September by e-mail to ku-101-di@brue.auswaertiges-amt.de<\/a><\/p>\n As the number of places is limited, the principle of \u2018first come first served\u2019 applies.<\/p>\n
