On Tuesday, October 7, the HHH Oktoberfest will take place. This event is organized as part of the German Language Week and celebrates the official inclusion of our school in the PASCH network, which we joined last school year.

During the lunch break, everyone is warmly invited to participate in various games. There will also be food stands offering German snacks, managed by the students. The proceeds will go towards the 12th grade’s trip to Berlin.
At that time, the Heilig-Hart Institute will officially be inaugurated as a PASCH school, and there will be a performance by spoken word artist Jessy James LaFleur in the main hall.
In the afternoon, she will also hold a workshop for the students.

It’s sure to be a great celebration, and we hope to see you all there!
See you then!

Talking is golden – active speech development in the GFL classroom

How do we get our learners to just start talking – without fear, without perfection, but with fun and real language gain?
This training day is full of fresh ideas on how to break down speaking inhibitions and motivate learners to actively use the language.
After a stimulating introduction, it’s straight into practice: in several workshops, we will test and develop methods that are suitable for everyday use and can be used immediately in the classroom – creatively, interactively and with plenty of room to try them out.

For anyone who wants to get the speaking part of their lessons up to speed.
