On to the week of German 2025!

The Week of German 2024 was a great success. With a comprehensive range of events for learners, teachers and all those interested in German, we put the German language and culture in the spotlight! On the Weef of German's Facebook page you will find some highlights in words and pictures. In 2025, there will be a German Week again! From 06 to 12 October, events will take place all over Belgium. All the practical information will be available on the wochefuerdeutsch.be website - so here - as soon as it becomes available.

How long can your learners concentrate and when do they need a short break or a “pick-me-up”? Learn about short in-between activities that fit into any lesson and provide fun, motivation and an energy boost in the classroom.

During the week for German, classes from secondary school can take part in our German quiz. Two classes at a time play a kahoot quiz against each other online. Our quizmaster asks questions about the German language and country knowledge questions about the DACH countries (GER from A1). The class with the highest average score wins. The best four classes will be invited to the final day. There are great prizes to be won.
