The guided tour of the collection on 15 October at 1 p.m. will offer an insight into the artworks displayed at the European Parliament, showcasing the diversity of contemporary art from 27 countries.

This autumn will be the last opportunity for several years to see the art displayed in the Paul-Henri Spaak building, which will soon undergo renovation. The artworks will subsequently be placed in storage for five years.

The collection is generally accessible to visitors only with prior registration and as part of a guided tour.

During the tour organised as part of the “Week of German in Belgium”, you will learn about the work of the Art Department and discover a selection of artworks.

You will also have the opportunity to discover our Irish Presidency exhibition, “An Outward Eye”, inspired by the Irish proverb “Those who travel have stories to tell”. It features a beautiful series of black-and-white photographic portraits by Conor Horgan.

The one-hour tour will be led by Elena Kurze.

The meeting point is at the entrance to Station Europe on 15 October at 12:50 p.m. It is located at the rear of the former railway station on Place du Luxembourg.
